Program Notes: I wrote, recorded, and released an album of piano pieces in 2023, called Sessions, 3 A.M. Fifteen short pieces use order and symmetry to convey key architectural features of churches and cathedrals. The aim is to transcend the self to find peace, warmth, and respite. John Seaton suggested that this music might work well for band. LUNETTE is the first transcription from this series.
